Beta Keeping is among the most popular aquarium-related activities in Indonesia. So are monthly competitions in which the fish are of the highest quality imaginable. Novelties are also frequent a not surprising occurrence in a country where the pressures to produce something new and of beauty on a constant basis are extreme.

Recently, our OFI member. Hendra Iwan Putra. Director of PT. Harlequin Aquatics (Jakarta, Indonesia), has been doing particularly well with his 'Crown Tail Bettas', having won prestigious prizes in Betta competition in Bandung.

These amazing Crown Bettas were originally created in the country, but dedicated and intense efforts by the Harlequin team have now resulted in extending the range and producing truly exceptional fish. Having attained such a high level of excellence in a range of 'Crown' varieties, our member quite naturally want the world to know and we are delighted to provide them with the opportunity to do so.
